Mark Stoops Takes A Break From Football, Heads To The Racetrack

Stoops's first take on the horse capital of the world.

UK head coach Mark Stoops has been hard at work building a new football era, but that doesn't mean he can't take in some of Kentucky's best traditions. After a morning practice, Stoops took some time off and headed to the races. Keeneland is Lexington's largest race track, which officially opened for spring races yesterday.

While Stoops enjoyed himself today, the spring football game is right around the corner. The highly anticipated annual scrimmage is April 13th at 7 p.m.
