Last year, the Minnesota Timberwolves were the big winners of the NBA Draft Lottery, landing the No. 1 pick which allowed them to take burgeoning superstar Karl-Anthony Towns out of Kentucky. Towns was this year's unanimous rookie of the year, and has former an impressive young core with Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and others.
Tonight, the Wolves have the fifth-best odds to win the top pick in the 2016 lottery, at 8.8-percent, but they might have luck on their side. Towns will be representing the franchise, wearing an incredibly special good luck charm: the late Flip Saunders' wedding ring.

Saunders served as Timberwolves head coach from 1995-2005 and again from 2014-2015 before tragically passing away last October at just 60 years old after losing his battle with cancer. Saunders drafted Towns, and was set to be his head coach before his passing. Towns has as good a reputation off the floor as on it, and this is an awesome tribute by him.
