The genes are strong for this recruit.

Four-star power forward Shareef O'Neal announced a commitment to Arizona back in April.

However, could the son of the legendary Shaq be eyeing up a different group of Wildcats?

Last week, Arizona suspended assistant coach Book Richardson, who is part of an ongoing FBI corruption investigation.

Now, 247Sports' Andrew Slater is predicting that the younger O'Neal will flip his commitment to Kentucky in the wake of what's been going on.

"There are rumors that [O'Neal] is likely to decommit from Arizona, given the events of last week," Slater said of the ongoing federal probe involving Wildcats assistant Emanuel Richardson. "He's likely to visit Kentucky on the 13th with his AAU teammate and friend Bol Bol. O'Neal's father is reportedly a big fan of coach [John] Calipari."

Slater is one of three recruiting analysts to predict O'Neal will flip to Kentucky in the four-star's 247Sports Crystal Ball.

O'Neal is the 33rd-ranked recruit in the 2018 class.
