On Sunday night, Kentucky basketball took home a 10-point victory over VMI. During the contest, Reid Travis caught a nasty blow to the face.

Keydets' guard Sarju Patel caught Travis in the eye on the play.

Kentucky Sports Radio photographer Dr. Michael Huang snapped an impressive photo of the play.

John Calipari updated Reid Travis' injury status on Monday.

The head coach said that Travis took it easy on Monday, and just watched film. Luckily, it doesn't sound like it will have a major impact going forward.

Kentucky hosts Winthrop at 1 p.m. ET tomorrow. Travis is expected to be available.

He played extremely well in Sunday's game, even after the blow to the eyes. Travis finished with 22 points in the game, with 10 coming after the hit.

The Stanford graduate transfer is averaging 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in just over 22 minutes per game for the Wildcats.
