Report: Harrison Twins Considering Staying At Kentucky After NBA Feedback

It was just this afternoon that we heard Kentucky freshman James Young will be leaving Lexington early to take his shot at an NBA career. Most college basketball fans assumed that both Andrew and Aaron Harrison would be joining him in the coming days. Well, according to ESPN NBA Insider Chad Ford, that may not be the case. He reports that the twins were leaning toward turning professional, but didn't get the feedback they were looking for.

As noted, the duo should decide early next week.

Young and fellow UK freshman Julius Randle were always considered the two most-likely to turn pro after one season - both have been slotted as high-to-mid first round picks all season. But the Harrisons, in comparison, have been looked at as late first round talent. That may not sound like a huge difference, but in the world of guaranteed contracts and a rookie pay scale that slides down dramatically, it matters.
