Kentucky basketball is young and talented, as usual, but the Wildcats get a very valuable upper classman back for the 2015 season. Forward Alex Poythress returns after tearing his ACL last December, and had his first game day shootaround today, ahead of the team's Blue vs. White scrimmage at 7 p.m. How did it go? All he did was drill a halfcourt shot.
Poythress is a valuable do-it-all player for Kentucky, and will add some good senior leadership to John Calipari's team. Expect him to get a big applause when he hits the court at Rupp Arena this season.
