Emmitt Williams knows where he'll play his college ball.

A top 5-star recruit has made his decision. Emmitt Williams took to Twitter on Friday morning to announce where he'll play his college basketball.

Williams is the No. 24 player in the class of 2018, per 247Sports. The site also ranks him No. 8 among power forwards, and No. 4 in the Sunshine State.

Near the end of the summer Williams released his top seven. Two of his home state teams, Florida and Miami, cracked his top seven, along with Duke, Kansas, LSU, Oregon, and USC.

LSU was seen as the favorite to land the star power forward recruit. Williams stayed true to those predictions and chose the Tigers on Friday morning.

In the post he had a message thanking his family, coach, and teammates for helping make his decision. Here's what he had to say.

"I would like to thank my Mom & Dad, my family, coach Reece and my teammates for being there for me. I am Happy to Announce that I will be attending Louisiana State University for my college career."

The 5-star recruit is headed to LSU.

With Williams' commitment, LSU now has the No. 3 recruiting class in the country. Fellow 5-star power forward Naz Reid and 4-stars Ja'Vonte Smart and Darius Days make up the rest of the class.

Will Wade is putting together a recruiting monster down in Baton Rouge. LSU sits at 12-7 on the season, but could be primed for a huge 2018-19 season.
