Alabama Releases Official Statement Regarding Offensive "Katrina" Banner

Friday night, a photo of an offensive banner hanging outside an apartment complex in Tuscaloosa, Alabama ahead of this weekend's LSU game went viral - for obvious reasons. Here's the photo, if you missed it.

Now, the school has issued an official statement regarding the matter.

Friday night, Alabama, via Twitter, directly addressed the banner. Saturday afternoon, the Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. David Grady, released a statement as well.
