Every great coach in college football leads his team to a win that ends up defining their career. For Ed Orgeron, the biggest moment of his coaching career came on Saturday when LSU defeated Alabama.
LSU didn’t just beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa, the Tigers never lost control of that game against the Crimson Tide.
Joe Burrow was sensational for the Tigers, completing 31-of-39 passes for 393 yards and three touchdowns. He outperformed Tua Tagovailoa on the road.
When LSU made it official that Orgeron would be the football program’s head coach, there were many skeptics out there that criticized the move. Now, Coach O has the team a few wins away from making the College Football Playoff.
Orgeron could have easily used Saturday’s win over Alabama as a chance to fire back at his doubters, but instead he decided to just go about his business.
He told the media that he spent his Saturday night eating a sandwich and watching SportsCenter with his wife.
Ed Orgeron celebrated LSU's win over Alabama in style:
– Went home with wife Kelly
– Had a ham sandwich
– And chips
– Watched SportsCenter

That’s a humble way for Orgeron to celebrate the biggest win of his career.
Next up for LSU is a road contest against Ole Miss.
As long as the Tigers keep their foot on the gas for the last three games of the season, Coach O should have the team competing for a national title.
