It's almost time for the big showdown between Auburn and LSU. Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge will be the host site of today's big SEC West matchup.

LSU comes into this game 7-0, ranked No. 2 overall, and boasting one of the best offenses in the country. Quarterback Joe Burrow is a Heisman Trophy favorite while the defense has been rock solid. A win today could very well send them into Tuscaloosa in two weeks as the No. 1 team in the nation.

Auburn has been almost equally impressive, save for one blemish in a loss to Florida a few weeks back. But Auburn quarterback Bo Nix has been very impressive in his first year as a starter. The Tigers defense has also been solid, not allowing more than 24 points in a game to date

ESPN’s computer model has released its prediction for the Auburn-LSU game.

ESPN’s computer model believes that LSU has this game mostly on lock. The computer model gives the LSU Tigers a 66.3 percent chance to win today's game.

Today's winner will control their own destiny in the SEC West race. But both teams look very well-suited to potentially knock Alabama off the pedestal at some point this year.

The Auburn-LSU game will be played at 3:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
