Former 4-Star Wide Receiver Tony Upchurch To Transfer From LSU

After two years in Baton Rouge, Tony Upchurch will transfer from LSU. Upchurch, a former four-star wide receiver recruit who was eventually moved to fullback after redshirting in 2014, played in eight games for the Tigers but did not record any stats. He has already updated his Twitter bio to reflect his new school, Texas Southern, which competes in the FCS as a member of the SWAC.

Tony Upchurch says how he will transfer from LSU over twitter.

According to Nola.com, Upchurch posted the following message to one of his social media accounts:

" I'm glad LSU showed me things I didn't know and made me a better man."

As a recruit from Pearland, Texas, Upchurch was the No. 45 wide receiver in his class.

Upchurch did not play in Saturday's spring game.
