Les Miles turned into The Mad Hatter late in the second quarter of LSU's game against Notre Dame Tuesday afternoon.
On 4th and goal from Notre Dame's 2-yard line, the Tigers lined up for a field goal. But instead of going through with the attempt, LSU pulled a fake. It appeared that backup quarterback Brad Kragthorpe crossed the plane with the ball, giving the Tigers a touchdown, but the referees reviewed the play and declared the runner did not get in, giving the ball back to the Fighting Irish.
