One of the top running backs in the country is off the market once again. John Emery has committed to LSU.
Emery, a five-star prospect from Destrehan (La.), decommitted from Georgia on Oct. 25 after being committed for six months. After that, he was considered a heavy LSU lean.
Emery made the call for the Tigers a short time ago.
“Proud to say I’m coming home,” he wrote.

In addition to being the No, 2 running back, Emery is the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He is the second-highest rated commit in LSU’s 2019 haul, behind five-star Derek Stingley, the No. 3 overall prospect in the country.
