According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, Leonard Fournette is "very doubtful" to play against Missouri.
LSU star running back Leonard Fournette, who is battling an ankle injury, is reportedly "very doubtful" to play against Missouri on Saturday. Fournette, widely regarded as the best running back in the nation, could miss his second game of the season - he also sat out the team's game against Jacksonville State.
Fournette, on the season, has rushed 67 times for 386 yards and two touchdowns. In his LSU career, he's rushed for over 3,300 yards.
Fournette obviously has a bright future ahead of him, so let's hope the Tigers are as cautious as possible moving forward here. The Tigers and the Tigers (yep) are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
