Someone out there - hopefully an LSU fan - is the proud new owner of running back Leonard Fournette's game-worn jersey from the Tigers' game against South Carolina earlier this year. The price that was paid will absolutely shock you.
To obtain both the jersey, which is signed by Fournette, and two helmets, which were signed by Les Miles and Steve Spurrier, the top bidder paid $101,000. The proceeds go to benefitting the people affected by the South Carolina floods last month.
As Ross Dellenger of The Advocate notes, the bidding got a bit out of control as time wound down Monday morning.

Needless to say, that's a lot of money. It's great to see that it went to a great cause.
