Coming into the 2014 season, LSU head football coach Les Miles made a big statement when he compared incoming freshman running back Leonard Fournette to NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan. A month later, Miles took a step back, telling the media that the expectations placed on Fournette -- like his 33-to-1 odds to win the Heisman Trophy -- were too high, and that he doesn't want people comparing the freshman to anyone but himself.
Today, Miles commented on Fournette's performance on Saturday against Wisconsin. While the Tigers won, 28-24, Fournette didn't make much of an impact on offense, as he ran the ball eight times for 18 yards. He also returned five kicks for 117 yards. According to Miles, this performance is exactly what you should have expected.

We'll see if Fournette can make a bigger impact on Sept. 6, when LSU hosts Sam Houston State.
