Ben Simmons, a five-star recruit and the projected No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, is a basketball player for LSU.
The 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward will not be a two-sport star.
Les Miles is still going to make his football recruiting pitch, though. The Tigers’ coach did that today.

No one is going to stop Simmons on a fade in the end zone. He’s got way too much money on the line to risk his basketball future playing football, unfortunately.
