Louisiana Sen. David Vitter Urges Florida Governor To Postpone Or Move LSU-Florida Game

The LSU-Florida game is in danger of being affected by Hurricane Matthew, and one prominent Louisiana politician is calling for the contest to me moved or postponed.

Louisiana Senator David Vitter is urging Governor Rick Scott of Florida to rule out playing the game as scheduled. The Florida athletic department is supposed to make a final ruling on the game soon, but has been pushing to keep it in Gainesville at noon Saturday.

Vitter formally lobbied Scott to move the game in an official letter. You can read it in full here.
