LSU AD Joe Alleva On Tiger Stadium Expansion: Alabama Fans "Will Need Telescopes To See The Game" From New Stadium Seats

The already intimidating Tiger Stadium is about to become an even harder place to play. During the LSU Tiger Tour, athletic director Joe Alleva discussed Tiger Stadium's expansion, which will take the stadium from a capacity of over 92,500 to over 100,000. Of course, not every seat will be a good one, and Alleva already has a plan for how to utilize the nose-bleeds.

"When Alabama comes, (their fans) will be at the top of the new stadium seats. They're going to need telescopes to see the game."

Oh how we've missed you, classic SEC football gamesmanship. Only 99 days until college football season, everyone.

LSU's $75 million expansion project is scheduled to be complete by the Tigers' September 6 home opener against Sam Houston State.
