Leonard Fournette knows a little something about arriving at LSU as a blue-chip recruit with great expectations. As a freshman in 2014, Fournette rushed for 1,034 yards and 10 touchdowns, while returning 24 kickoffs for 625 yards and an additional score. He certainly lived up to his billing, and enters his sophomore season regarded as one of college football's best offensive weapons.
LSU's basketball program will welcome two five-star talents to campus this year in shooting guard Antonio Blakeney and small forward Ben Simmons, the consensus No. 1 recruit in the 2015 class. Fournette shouted out both players today with a really cool graphic on Instagram.
If Blakeney and Simmons play on the hardwood as freshmen like Fournette did on the gridiron, the Tigers will be a force in the SEC and beyond next season.
