LSU CB Kevin Toliver Declares For NFL Draft

LSU cornerback Kevin Toliver is going pro.

Toliver announced this afternoon that he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Toliver was a five-star recruit in the 2015 class out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian. The No. 9 player in the country, Toliver committed to LSU during his sophomore year of high school and remained loyal.

"I have bled purple and gold since LSU offered a scholarship my freshman year of high school and will forever be a proud Tiger," Toliver's statement reads in part.

This season, Toliver appeared in 12 games, making five starts. He compiled 28 tackles, 11 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one interception and one sack.

For his career, Toliver made 84 tackles, intercepted two passes and recorded 16 passes defensed.
