LSU RB Leonard Fournette Not Expected To Play Versus Florida

Leonard Fournette's ankle is still not 100 percent and he's unlikely to play against the Florida Gators today.

No. 16 LSU takes on No. 21 Florida today, and it appears as though the Tigers will be without their star running back Leonard Fournette once again.

Check it out:

Leonard Fournette has been battling a chronic ankle injury since preseason, and it might require surgery in the offseason. He tweaked it again last week in the game against Arkansas, and it clearly hasn't healed up.

In his absence, Derrius Guice will take over as the preferred running back, and he's proven himself a more than capable replacement. Last week he recorded 252 yards and two touchdowns against the Razorbacks. He's run for at lest 150 yards four times this season and has nine touchdowns on the year.

The Tigers take on Florida at 1:00 pm. E.T. and is being broadcast on SEC Network. LSU is a 14-point favorite.
