Ole Miss' Hugh Freeze Says The SEC West 'Absolutely' Deserves Multiple Teams In The College Football Playoff

The SEC West is, by far, the best division in college football.

Auburn is 5-0, ranked No. 2 in the country. Ole Miss and Missisippi State are undefeated, too, also ranked in the top five. Texas A&M, 5-1 with its lone loss to the Bulldogs, is a top-15 team. Alabama is the division's fifth-place team at the moment.

The division is so good, in fact, that Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze believes there should be two SEC West teams in the College Football Playoff.

Freeze, when asked if the division deserves more than one playoff team:

"Absolutely, without a doubt," Freeze said. "I don't get to see all the games, but I play against these guys here and see them on film. If you go through this SEC West, I think there's more than one deserving team, at this moment, to be in the playoff."

Freeze and Ole Miss will take on Texas A&M in College Station this Saturday. Mississippi State will host Auburn in the division's other marquee matchup this weekend.
