The biggest matchup in the SEC this weekend is unquestionably the Auburn-LSU game in Baton Rouge. Naturally, ESPN's SEC analyst Paul Finebaum had a strong take on the game.

In an appearance on SportsCenter on Saturday, Finebaum announced his pick. He's taking the favored LSU Tigers to secure the win.

Finebaum explained that LSU "looks really good" heading into this game and that Auburn hasn't won at Tiger Stadium in 20 years.

Via Saturday Down South:

“I like LSU. It’s worth remembering history in this game. Auburn hasn’t won here since 1999. LSU looks really good in this game here today.”

The sports books certainly seem to be leading towards Finebaum's pick. LSU comes into today as a ten-point favorite.

As for the series history, LSU is on a two-game winning streak against Auburn and have won six of their last eight against them.

The two teams are a combined 13-1, with LSU ranked No. 2 and Auburn ranked No. 9.

If LSU wins this game, they could very well go into their game against Alabama as a rare favorite against the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

Of course, an Auburn win would give Gus Malzahn and his squad control of their destiny in the SEC West.
