Report: LSU OL La'el Collins Skipping NFL Draft To Speak With Police

Yesterday, ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the news that LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins, a possible first-round draft pick, was wanted for questioning in the murder of a pregnant woman he once had a relationship with.

While Collins is not considered a suspect, Baton Rouge police are interested in speaking with him about the victim, 29-year-old Brittany Mills. Today, Schefter reported that Collins, who was scheduled to attend the draft, would be returning to Louisiana to cooperate with the investigation.

Collins was already in Chicago and participated in the NFL's Play 60 event today. Smart move on his part to take care of more important matters than where he might be playing next year.
