There's a bit of trouble stirring in Baton Rouge. The Advocate's Matthew Harris first reported that LSU sophomore running back Jeremy Hill has been formally charged with simple battery for his involvement in an off-campus fight in the parking lot of Reggie's Bar.
Harris also tweeted the below photo, which includes the official information on Hill's charges.
Sue Bernie, an East Baton Rouge Parish assistant district attorney, is pushing for revocation and said, "I think that jail time is appropriate, but it's ultimately up to the judge."
LSU head coach Les Miles has suspended Hill indefinitely. Hill rushed for 755 yards and 12 touchdowns last season for the Tigers, including four 100+ yard rushing games.
