With the NFL Draft only hours away, the agent of LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins is attempting to pull his client out of the draft.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound offensive tackle is currently involved in a bizarre legal situation. He reportedly had a relationship with a 29-year-old pregnant woman who was murdered last week. Police reportedly don't consider Collins a suspect in the murder, but want to bring him in for questioning.
Collins' stock is slipping as a result, so his agent wants him to wait for the Supplemental Draft, which occurs this summer. By then, Collins will hopefully have his name cleared and will be more likely to get selected.
