Ben Simmons arrived in Baton Rouge, La., as one of the most-heralded recruits in the history of the LSU program. The 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward was ranked the No. 1 prospect in the country and the probable future No. 1 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.
It didn’t take him very long to start living up to the hype.
LSU’s mens’ basketball team recently concluded its five-game tour in Australia. The Tigers went 3-2. While they would have liked to post a better record, they couldn’t have asked for much more from their star freshman.
