Ben Simmons, the top overall pick in this past June's NBA Draft, looked solid in his first summer league game for the Philadelphia 76ers, producing a stat line of 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists. But it won't excite Philly fans to hear that Simmons suffered what appears to be a calf injury in the fourth quarter of the contest.
Simmons, who played at LSU for one season, had to be helped off the floor by two of his teammates with just over four minutes left to play. Fans are hoping he's just dealing with calf cramps - but no official report has been released.

Hopefully, this isn't a sign of things to come for Simmons and the 76ers. Philadelphia needs him healthy if they're to improve on last year's woeful campaign.
