Tremont Waters, the one-time Georgetown signee, is taking a visit to LSU starting tomorrow, according to Scout's Evan Daniels.
LSU has been trending for the talented four-star point guard for a little while now, and could potentially lock him up with a good visit.
Waters is also considering Creighton and UConn, and Georgetown is still after the former Hoya signee.
He was granted his release from his National Letter of Intent to Georgetown after the school fired head coach John Thompson III. New head coach Patrick Ewing made Waters an early priority, but now it looks like he could be a Tiger for Will Wade, who like Ewing, is entering his first year with his new program.
Waters is ranked No. 41 overall in the class, per 247Sports' composite rankings. He's the class of 2017's No. 10 point guard, and the second-ranked recruit in Connecticut, behind only Kentucky enrollee Hamidou Diallo.
If LSU lands Waters, the class will jump up to No. 16 in the country, according to 247's Jerry Meyer. Wade's first LSU class is currently ranked No. 48.
