Report: No. 1 2018 QB Trevor Lawrence Cancels Michigan State Trip, Will Visit LSU

Trevor Lawrence, a five-star quarterback ranked No. 1 in the class of 2018, has shaken up his visit plans over the next few weekends.

According to 247Sports, Lawrence was supposed to head to Michigan State for Saturday's game against Michigan, but will not end up making that trip. He will, however, be at LSU for the pivotal Alabama game next Saturday.

According to a family member of Lawrence he will now visit LSU next weekend for their SEC West match up versus Alabama. The 5-Star QB and his family will arrive in Baton Rogue next Saturday morning and will stay overnight for the game.

He will follow that up to a trip to see his home-state Georgia Bulldogs host Auburn. Earlier this season, he took a trip to Clemson for the epic game against Louisville.

Back in July, Lawrence named Clemson and Georgia his top two schools.

He is ranked No. 1 overall in the class of 2018.

As a sophomore last season, Lawrence completed 64-percent of his passes for 3,655 yard, 43 touchdowns, and just four interceptions. So far this season, Lawrence has 2,174 yards, 27 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in eight games.

Lawrence will be a huge get for whichever team lands him, but as a high school junior, there is still plenty of time until National Signing Day 2018.
