On Saturday afternoon, the LSU Tigers hosted the Auburn Tigers in one of the biggest games of the college football season thus far.

The winner of Saturday's game would take control of the SEC West with a contest against Alabama looming later in the season. The first half of the game turned into a defensive slug-fest - the likes of which can only be seen in the SEC and Big Ten.

LSU entered the game with the No. 1 scoring offense in the country, but was tested by Auburn's excellent defensive front.

In the fourth quarter, LSU held a 16-13 lead and was driving down the field.

As the Tigers approached the endzone, an Auburn player appeared to go down well after a play was over. LSU fans immediately thought the Auburn player may have been faking an injury to slow down the LSU offense.

LSU eventually scored on the drive and took at 23-13 lead early in the fourth quarter.

If LSU wins, the Tigers move to 8-0 on the season and are poised for a huge showdown against Alabama.
