The 2019 college football season could not have gone any better for the LSU Tigers. Head coach Ed Orgeron and company were expected to finish third in the SEC West, but did much more than that.
After adding Joe Brady to the coaching staff, the LSU offense took a significant step forward. That might be putting it lightly. Star quarterback Joe Burrow set numerous records during the 2019 season – throwing for 60 touchdowns.
Burrow elevated himself from a mid-round NFL draft pick to the likely No. 1 overall pick come April. The star quarterback developed a unique relationship with his head coach in just two years.
We’ve all heard the recruiting stories, where Coach O made a restaurant worker go out and get 15 pounds of crawfish during his first meeting with Burrow. The player and coach have a great respect for one another, but that doesn’t mean they don’t joke around.
Earlier this week, a video emerged of Burrow giving his best Coach O impersonation.
He’s got it down.

Coach O famously ends every interview and press conference with “Go Tigers,” and the college football world loves every minute of it.
Next up for Burrow is the NFL combine later this month and the draft in April.
