Video: Kentucky, Down 5 Points With 13 Seconds To Play, Chooses Not To Foul

This was not smart.

Kentucky seemingly did its best, and then worst, to try and get back into the game against LSU in the final few minutes Tuesday night. After Aaron Harrison hit three straight 3-pointers to bring the Wildcats back within five (they trailed by 12), the Tigers were allowed to run off the final 13.5 seconds on the game clock without being fouled. Both the announcers and UK fans were stunned:

While it's understandable that Kentucky's players were trying to get a steal or a turnover for the first few seconds, they clearly needed to adjust that plan once those precious moments had passed. I'm sure we'll hear from Coach Cal - soon - on whether this was his fault or his players not following directions.
