The LSU Tigers were on cloud nine as the clock struck zero in yesterday’s huge win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. In fact, they were so confident after the win that they decided to let some Alabama VIPs in on the celebration.
After the game, several LSU players decided to walk over to the Alabama recruitment section and started talking to the prospective Alabama players.
Though it’s hard to hear in the video below, Thaddeus Moss, Grant Delpit and Marcel Brooks apparently tried to convince the high schoolers to consider LSU instead.
The moment when @Thaddeusmoss @realgrantdelpit @MarcelBrooks_5 and his @LSUfootball teammates come over to the @AlabamaFTBL recruitment section to suggest they consider an alternative option in Baton Rouge 😂! Gotta ❤️ @SEC @Geaux247 @TomVH @JibrilleFewell pic.twitter.com/vvz5QDsRC7

Though some people may not agree with the assessment given that Alabama has won five national titles in the last decade, it certainly looks like LSU has the edge right now.
Even without having a better recruiting class in recent years, the Tigers were still able to beat Alabama. In Tuscaloosa.
That has to speak volumes given that the Alabama-LSU rivalry has so often decided the SEC West and the SEC as a whole.
My question is what’s wrong with players helping recruit other great players to their school after a win 🤔 bama has recruited players telling them they will beat LSU

LSU was rewarded for their big win with the No. 1 spot in the AP and Coaches’ Polls this weekend.
It’s very likely that they’ll be named No. 1 in the College Football Playoff poll on Tuesday too.
Why shouldn’t some elite college players consider the Tigers over the Tide?
