Video: Paul Finebaum On What Nick Saban Was Saying To Him In Off-Camera Conversation
Nick Saban and Paul Finebaum had what was described by some as a "heated" off-camera discussion at SEC Media Days today.
The Alabama head coach got upset with Finebaum on-air for questioning his handling of the two Crimson Tide players who were arrested (and charges were later dropped) this offseason. Saban said he likely won't be suspending them for a game this season, something Finebaum seemed to have a problem with.
The conversation continued off-air and was captured by some reporters.
AL.com's John Talty reported that Saban insinuated to Finebaum that his players were targeted by the Louisiana police because they were Alabama student-athletes in LSU country.
Finebaum confirmed Saban insinuated this during The Paul Finebaum Show this afternoon.
