Saturday night, it was reported - first by The Clarion Ledger - that former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott had been arrested earlier that morning for DUI. Prescott, who is currently preparing for the NFL Draft, was pulled over at 12:45 AM and later released on bond.
Sunday afternoon, Prescott, via the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, released a statement on the matter. He took responsibility for the incident and apologized to his friends, family and fans. He also vowed not to let it determine his character.
