Greg McElroy has not been a college football analyst for a very long period of time, but he appears to already have the unbiased portion of the job requirement down.
Today on ESPN, where the former Alabama quarterback is now an analyst for the recently debuted SEC Network, McElroy spoke highly of Mississippi State. The former national champion quarterback under Nick Saban went as far as saying that he "sees no reason" why Mississippi State can't win the SEC West. To win that division, the Bulldogs would have to best McElroy's former team, Auburn, and LSU, among other programs.
It's certainly a #hottake.
