Story: Kentucky smashed Mississippi State tonight in Rupp Arena.

The Cats continue to improve down the final stretch of regular season play. Tonight, all starters scored in double digits with Ryan Harrow leading the pack with 19 points. The Wildcats overall shot 55 percent from the field, 73 percent from the line and had 40 rebounds. Kentucky has shot 50 percent or better in each of its last three games, at 52.5 percent overall.

In their second to last home game, all of Kentucky's players seemed to have contributed. The only down moment of the game was when senior guard Julius Mays left the court midway through the second half. After an inadvertent elbow to the face, Mays immediately grabbed his eye. According to Coach Cal, Mays got stitches near his left eye.

As March is rapidly approaching, the lingering question over the Big Blue Nation is whether this year's squad has the resume to warrant selection into the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats are currently predicted as a bubble team, but have three conference games left to prove themselves.

Kentucky now takes the road for two consecutive away games. First up, the Cats face off against Arkansas in Fayetteville on Saturday with a tip at 4 p.m.
