Ole Miss Fans Mock Mississippi State Fan With #TheNetwork Tweets

Men in Black.

Next Wednesday, Ole Miss, which won nine games this past season, will be looking to end National Signing Day with its third-straight top 20 recruiting class. It's no secret that the Rebels' coaching staff has put in a great deal of hard work on the recruiting trail over the past few seasons. But a fan of the team's biggest rival - Mississippi State - seems to believe that Ole Miss' success comes down to more than just hard work.

The fan, posting on MSU fan site EliteDawgs.com, published what he calls "The Ole Miss Recruiting Playbook." It details the supposed scheme that the Rebels run, which includes an alumni group called "The Network" that's allegedly responsible for helping the school get around NCAA rules and regulations. The fan also alleges that members of "The Network" use creative ways to pay players to commit to the school.

Of course, the post has been gaining traction with the fan bases of both schools. Ole Miss supporters somehow got the hashtag #TheNetwork trending, poking fun at anyone who believes the Mississippi State supporter's claims. They clearly believe it's far-fetched.

Fans accuse their rivals of cheating with relative frequency, so it's hard to know if there is any truth to the allegations made. Regardless, it's made for some amusing banter back and forth.
