Chad Kelly To Miss Remainder Of Ole Miss Spring Football After Hernia Surgery

One of the SEC's top passers will be out for the remainder of spring ball. Chad Kelly, the Clemson transfer who is coming off of a season in which he threw for 4,042 yards and 31 touchdowns, had successful hernia surgery last week. The story was first reported by Scout's Chuck Rounsaville, and confirmed by head coach Hugh Freeze to Rivals' Neal McCready.

Missing spring football is a setback, but this shouldn't affect Kelly during the season. Ole Miss opens the 2016 season with a huge non-conference game against Florida State in Orlando.
