Ole Miss WR DK Metcalf Made An Absurd Catch Off Of Vanderbilt Defender's Helmet

Ole Miss wide receiver makes catch over defender.

Ole Miss leads Vanderbilt 35-21 at the half. One Rebels score was set up by an absolutely ridiculous catch by DK Metcalf.

During a late-second half drive, Shea Patterson delivered a ball to Metcalf, who had cornerback Tre Herndon in one-on-one coverage.

Metcalf went up, and made an incredible play, securing the catch off of Herndon's helmet before completing the reception as he came down with the ball.

The 34-yard catch was the biggest play in a 65-yard touchdown drive, which was capped by a 18-yard Jordan Wilkins scoring run two plays later.

34 of Metcalf's 37 total yards came on that play. Patterson had a huge first half, completing 14-of-25 throws for 249 yards and three touchdowns, as well as 15 rushing yards and an additional score.
