Evan Engram found himself wide open for a 63-yard touchdown to open up a 17-3 lead for Ole Miss against Alabama.
Few thought Ole Miss had a chance to beat Alabama for a third straight year. No team has done it to a Nick Saban squad since his tenure at Michigan State. The Rebels are in good shape so far, though, up 17-3. Ole Miss opened up a two-score lead on a play action bomb to star tight end Evan Engram, who was wide open for an easy score.
Chad Kelly subtly fakes the pitch, which is enough to draw in Alabama’s defense, leaving Engram wide open for Kelly to find.

It gets worse for Alabama. Ole Miss just returned a fumble for a touchdown to push the lead to 24-3. The Rebels may be making history at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium this afternoon, although we’re still in the first half. Alabama was a 10.5 or 11 point favorite at most sportsbooks, per OddsShark.
