Ahead of last year's matchup between Alabama and Ole Miss, Rebels quarterback Bo Wallace talked up his wide receivers and told reportersthat his team would be able to "put up points" on the Crimson Tide defense, much like Texas A&M had done. As we all remember, that didn't exactly happen, as Alabama shut out Ole Miss 25-0 in Tuscaloosa.
This Saturday, Alabama heads to Ole Miss for another big-time SEC West showdown, and a few Rebels players are talking yet again. Defensive back Cody Prewitt said that he doesn't think the Tide are as good as they've been in the past. Wallace has criticized the media in Tuscaloosa for being biased. Well, former Alabama star linebacker C.J. Mosley, who was selected in the first round of this past year's NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens, has heard enough. Check out what he posted to Instagram this afternoon.
Mosley has clearly been reading the news over the past few days. He obviously wants to remind the Rebels of what happened last time around.
Alabama has won the last 10 matchups between these two, and the Tide look to be the favorite again this season. We'll see if Ole Miss can pull the upset and get some bragging rights back.
