There's going to be a party or two in Oxford tonight. After blocking an extra point, Alabama's offense looked like it would drive down the field and pull out a massive win in Ole Miss. Of course, the Rebels vaunted secondary had something to say about that. Senior Senquez Golson made a huge play on a ball intended for Alabama tight end O.J. Howard. After a review, it was clear that Golson got a foot in-bounds, and Ole Miss' offense got the ball back and was able to kneel the ball and run out the clock.
With Ole Miss' huge win, and Mississippi State's domination of Texas A&M earlier, the Egg Bowl, and not the Iron Bowl, may be the premiere game in the SEC this season.
