Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze has turned the Rebels into a formidable force on the gridiron over the past few years. But he's also proud of what he's been able to see his players accomplish in the classroom.
Thursday, Freeze tweeted out the news that his team has set a new school record (2.57) for overall GPA. After a number of Twitter users poked fun at him, he reminded everyone of the average GPA for student athletes. He also sarcastically mentioned that everyone commenting about it must have had between a 3.0 and a 4.0.
">@UMTrueRebel for a great year — Hugh Freeze (@CoachHughFreeze)
Our Football Team earned the highest team GPA (2.57) in recorded history of the football program.” Thanks @UMTrueRebel for a great year

Ole Miss takes on TCU in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Eve. A win there would cap off a great year for the Rebels.
