Florida may have hired a quarterback-friendly coach in Dan Mullen, but four-star Gators commit Matt Corral continues to weigh his options.

Corral seemed excited about Mullen ahead of the hire becoming official, but with time winding down on the recruiting cycle, he is understandably checking out some other programs.

Before the Mullen hire, Corral made a trip to Alabama, one of the other finalists in his recruitment.

This weekend, the All-American is heading to Ole Miss, which recently took the interim tag off of Matt Luke, per 247Sports.

Corral is the No. 54 player in the country, and No. 3 pro-style quarterback per 247. The site ranks him as the No. 8 recruit in California.

Flipping him would be a total coup for Ole Miss. The Rebels class is ranked No. 71 in the country and No. 13 in the SEC, dealing with the fallout from the Hugh Freeze scandal. The school may also lose top quarterback Shea Patterson to transfer. Landing a blue-chip quarterback like Corral would certainly jump start things for Luke and his staff.
