Ole Miss DT Signee Tae-Kion Reed Arrested For Burglary

Ole Miss defensive tackle signee Tae-Kion Reed was arrested Tuesday on a burglary charge.

According to WCBI, Reed was arrested by the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department in Mississippi and is "accused of breaking in a house and taking 'a variety' of firearms."

Details on the arrest are scarce at this time, but this is another negative headline for Ole Miss. One week ago, the Rebels self-imposed a one-year bowl ban in relation to an ongoing NCAA investigation into violations committed by the program under head coach Hugh Freeze.

A three-star prospect out of Columbia (Miss.) New Hope, Reed was the 123-ranked defensive tackle in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He made headlines on signing day when he spurned Mississippi State, where he had been committed, and signed with the Rebels.

We will update you on this story as more details emerge.
