Jontay Porter will join his brother, Michael, at Mizzou this upcoming season.
Five-star power forward Jontay Porter has officially reclassified to 2017, and he'll now be able to join his brother, No. 1 overall recruit Michael Porter Jr., at Mizzou for the 2017-18 season.
Porter announced the news on Twitter yesterday.
Check it out:
Porter initially committed to the Tigers this past May after decommitting from the Washington Huskies following the dismissal of their head coach, Lorenzo Romar.
Porter is the 18th-ranked recruit in the nation, and his reclassification bumps the 2017 Mizzou recruiting class all the way up to No. 8 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC, per 247 Sports.
The Tigers have gone 8-46 in SEC play the past three seasons, but expectations will be high this year for head coach Counzo Martin in his first season at Mizzou.
