Antar Thompson was originally a member of Missouri's 2013 class. After a stint in junior college, and a commitment elsewhere, he is ready to head to Columbia.

Thompson was the No. 471 recruit and No. 33 defensive tackle in the class of 2013. He committed to Mizzou while a high school player, but never made it to campus.

After two years away from the sport, time well-detailed by Rivals' PowerMizzou.com back in May, Thompson returned to college football in the junior college ranks. Now, five years later, and after a brief dalliance with the Louisville Cardinals, Thompson is ready to be a Tiger.

He announced his commitment to the program today.

Thompson was more heavily recruited out of junior college than he was back as a high school recruit. Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida State, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and TCU were among his recent offers.
